Daksinamurti is Till Christopher Kuhn from Marburg Germany.
Till became a DJ to spread his love for the psychedelic music he loves with such a big passion. He was quite unhappy with the musical situation in Germany around the year 2000, which consisted mostly of monotonous and emotionless music being played all over. So it was time to kick up some dust!
Perfect nighttime and twilight power trance is his recipe, but Till also has a real weakness for well produced, soulful and intelligent morning / daytime sound as well.
In 2005 he joined the label "Shiva Space Technology". Healso helps his friend DJ Shivamoon to run the Chennai, India-based label Rudraksh Records. At the end of 2007 Till joined forces with Nexus Media.
The last few years have seen a breakthrough on an international level for Daksinamurti, with his appearances at festivals around Europe, including Omni (Spain) and Freedom Festival(Portugal 2005 & 2007). In 2006 he got booked for two of Germany's biggest festivals - the Fullmoon Festival and Antaris Project, and in 2007 he also played Fusion Festival & Psycrowdelica.
Now, the list of places he has played is growing rapidly, with gigs played in Germany, Portugal, India, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Poland, Belgium, Thailand, Italy, Netherlands, Finland, and South Africa.
In December 2006 he released his compilation Spiritually Spaced Out on Shiva Space Technology, and in summer 2007 the compilation Deep Fried on Rudraksh Records.
The beginning of 2008 saw him put together the double benefit V/A CD Ahimsa released on Dacru /Rudraksh Records.
