"All Or Nothing EP" is the mind bending, time tripping, foot stomping debut from one of the Cape Town scene's most respected and experienced DJs - DJ Bruce, producing under the "Solar Axis" moniker. Bringing power and grace in equal measure, this debut EP shows two sides to this versatile producer, who has been rocking dancefloors in Cape Town and beyond for more than 10 years.
The first piece "One Step Closer" brings the funk, starting with a cheeky little cartoon-like melody that is guaranteed to get your ass shaking. Bounce and flair in the bass and drums set the tone for soaring synth lines and acid tweaks, morhping and mutating to climax in a musical whirlpool that rocks the floor.
"All Or Nothing" is the darker half of this pair. A solid, chunky kick and bass drive a twisted top end forwards, until Bruce's trademark musical movements arrive to turn this into a formidable dancefloor masher.
